British Columbia Ambassador!

BC Ambassador Candidates for 2009!
Here are the BC Ambassador Candidates for 2009!
What is BC Ambassador you ask?
Well, the British Columbia Ambassador program was established to nurture provincial leaders of the future, to promote and assist with the expenses of post-secondary education, and to create links of friendship and understanding throughout BC communities.
Candidates are given about 5 months, to organize a campaign encompassing creative fund raising, preparing speeches, studying for a 3 hour knowledge exam about British Columbia, setting up a community table, gearing up for a judges interview and onstage impromptu question, and a talent presentation!
wow-sounds like A LOT of work doesn’t it?
The lucky recipients of the British Columbia Ambassador titles are awarded with post secondary bursary(s) as well the the mission of fund raising for a charity of their choice using their titles to help raise funds during their one year reign.
